Data Preferences
How borrowers and visitors manage consent, data sharing, communications, cookies, and privacy choices.
Plain-language public reference. Last updated June 2026. Institution contracts, regulator instructions, and applicable law may impose additional requirements.
Preference center
DurujScore treats privacy preferences as account controls, not fine print. Borrowers manage lender consent in Duruj Passport, while website visitors can control communication and cookie preferences where those tools are enabled.
Choices you can manage
- Lender consent: view active consents, see what institution requested access, and revoke eligible consents.
- Credit inquiries: see inquiry history and the purpose recorded for institution access.
- Communications: unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages while still receiving security, legal, and account notices.
- Cookies: block or clear cookies in your browser; optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only where permitted.
- Data access and correction: request a copy of your data or ask for inaccurate information to be corrected through the responsible institution or authorized data source.
Choices that may be limited
- Some records must be retained for credit-reference, audit, fraud prevention, dispute-resolution, tax, contract, or regulatory reasons.
- Revoking consent does not erase historical audit evidence of access that already occurred.
- A lender may still process information when it has another lawful basis or contractual obligation.
Contact
- For preference, consent, or data-subject requests, email privacy@duruj.io.
- For disputes about credit information, use the dispute workflow so the responsible institution can review the record.
Compliance contact
